Discovering Alternative Treatments:
Supplements

From: Hope Instilled

Chronic Pain ResourcesQuick Guide to Supplements:

  • There are two major reasons for taking supplements, preventing health problems from occurring and reversing problems that have occurred.
  • Supplements are not as safe as you might think. Supplements are considered virtually unregulated, due to the FDA having minimal control.
  • Finding the right quality supplements for your health condition could significantly improve things.

What are Supplements?

Dietary supplements include ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, and enzymes (FDA, 2017).

Learn more about what they are, how they help with chronic pain, risks, essential vitamins & minerals, the history of them, balancing nutrition and dietary supplements, and how to find quality supplements on our website.

8 Positive Things I Feel Despite My Chronic Pain

Chronic Pain ResourcesBy: Nicole from This Is All Going On

It can be easy to focus only on all of the negative things when you’re in pain. And, I have to admit that my last two chronic pain posts were pretty heavy. I guess they reflected where I was at in the moment that I wrote them. I have to admit I’d been seized by a particularly tenacious pain flare, and I was feeling pretty grim with a side of hopeless.

I’ve come out of it now, and I thought the time was right to do something a little more positive.

8 Positive Things
“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.”
- Michael Jackson
